Standing quietly beneath the morning sky,
Watching the clouds as they wandered by.
A little heart with dreams untold,
Wondering what the future would hold.
I walked through roads I’d never known,
Searching for a place to call my own.
Every turn brought something new,
Every sunrise painted a different view.
Then came a voice, gentle and bright,
Guiding my steps through the fading light.
When I was lost and could not see,
A little hope came back to me.
Days went by, both slow and fast,
Some moments fleeting, some moments last.
I learned that journeys are never straight,
And sometimes we must patiently wait.
Then one morning, I heard a call,
A chance to rise, a chance to stand tall.
With trembling hands and hopeful eyes,
I took a step beneath the skies.
I do not know where this road will bend,
Or where its winding paths will end.
But with courage lighting the way,
I’ll keep moving forward, day by day.
