As for me personally I think one of the hardest things about trusting God is not knowing what’s going to happen… Sometimes I just want to foresee due to curiosity on how things are going to play out even before it happens.
But then I look back at my life and realize that so many things I was worried about ended up working out in ways I clearly never expected. And it makes me think, why was I so scared to put my whole faith in God and trust Him?..
I’m learning that trusting God doesn’t mean knowing what’s going to happen. It’s choosing to say, “God, I don’t know what’s coming, but I trust You,” choosing to meditate and trust in His directions and wills.
Even when things don’t go the way I want, I want to believe that God is still working through it, and all the missed opportunities is God’s will and they were never meant for me. He hasn’t failed me before, and He never will.
Philippians 4:6–7 reminds us to bring our worries to God through prayer, and that His peace will guard our hearts and minds. Amen. God Bless
